What is the Black Mountain Neuro-Medical Treatment Center?
BMNTCÂ is a specialized healthcare facility operated by the State of North Carolina specifically for the care of people with diagnosis of dementia who have aggressive or combative behaviors or persons with intellectual developmental disabilities.
BMNTC is administered by the NC Division of State Operated Healthcare Facilities within the Department of Health and Human Services. BMNTC is located in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina situated on 40 acres in Black Mountain, North Carolina about 16 miles east of Asheville.
